    Land Development Project Manager

    Capstone Homes Land Development is seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Project Manager to join our Land Team. In this role, you will be responsible for governmental land entitlements, community design, coordination of engineering plans, and development of land into finished residential lots. Your work will have a direct impact on the profitable supply of new affordable homes by Capstone. Our ideal candidate will be an outgoing self-starter who cares about people and is passionate about efficient and innovative processes for developing land. 

    $90,000 - $120,000 depending on experience.
    Land development operations in Minnesota, Sioux Falls SD, and Wisconsin.

        • Present new projects to city, government groups, neighborhood 
        • Negotiate project terms with City officials
      • Lead/support Consultants to develop layout and construction plans

    Director of Land Development

    As our Director of Land Development, you’ll play a key role in shaping both our communities and the team that brings them to life.     Superintendent Assistant — South Dakota

    We are seeking a motivated Superintendent Assistant to support our superintendents and managers in all areas of residential construction. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in doing things the right way, and wants to grow their
    skills within a company that values integrity, accountability, and quality craftsmanship.


    What You’ll Do
    As a Superintendent Assistant, you’ll support daily job-site operations by:

    • Completing daily tasks as directed by job superintendents and managers
    • Assisting with construction site preparation, including tool and equipment setup
    • Posting specs, plans, checklists, city plans, permit cards, and front-door signage
    • Loading and unloading construction materials for use on site
    • Assisting with job documentation and project records
    • Supporting scheduling, planning, and coordination of project timelines
    • Communicating professionally and respectfully with subcontractors and suppliers
    • Operating heavy and light equipment as required
    • Enforcing cleanliness, parking, building, and erosion-control standards
    • Performing specialized tasks with on-the-job training provided
    • Maintaining all safety standards on site

    Job Superintendent — South Dakota

    Capstone Homes – South Dakota is a growing residential homebuilder in the Sioux Falls area. As a volume builder, we are seeking a Job Superintendent who thrives in a fast-paced environment, leads with integrity, and holds themselves and others to a high standard of accountability. 

    The ideal candidate is a proven construction professional who can manage multiple job sites while living out our Core Values of Trust, Humility, and Excellence—both on the jobsite and within the team. At Capstone, we hire for culture fit first. Technical skills matter, but we believe the right heart, mindset, and leadership approach are what create lasting impact—for our homes, our teams, and our communities. 

    What You’ll Do
    As a Job Superintendent, you will be responsible for the day-to-day success of residential construction projects from start to finish, including:

    Oversee and manage all aspects of construction projects, ensuring timely, efficient, and cost-effective completion •    Build, mentor, and maintain healthy jobsite teams •    Complete all quality checklists within 24 hours of each trade contractor finishing work; address deficiencies promptly and thoroughly •    Approve trade payments via tablet once work meets Capstone quality standards •    Schedule, coordinate, and attend all required municipal inspections •    Enforce Capstone’s safety program as outlined in the safety manual •    Guide and support field employees, trade partners, and suppliers—removing obstacles so homes stay on schedule •    Proactively resolve jobsite issues and conflicts •    Maintain clean, safe, and orderly job sites, including entrances, model home lots, and sales centers 


    What We’re Looking For:

    • Proven experience as a Construction Job Superintendent or in a similar leadership role
    • Strong understanding of residential construction processes, materials, means and methods, and regulations
    • Excellent leadership, organization, and communication skills
    • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
    • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
    • OSHA certification or other relevant safety training (preferred, but not required)
