Capstone Homes is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to keep our financial operations running smoothly. If you’re organized, love numbers, and take pride in accuracy, this could be the perfect fit.
What You’ll Do:
• Process vendor invoices and match them with purchase orders.
• Ensure accurate and timely payments to our valued vendors.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Keep vendor records up-to-date and accurate.
• Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to resolve payment questions.
• Maintain organized, accurate AP files.

We’re seeking a Controller to lead our financial operations, guide a talented accounting team, and provide strategic insight that drives our business forward. In this pivotal role, you’ll ensure financial stability, deliver precise reporting, streamline processes, and maintain full compliance with regulations. What you’ll do:
• Manage and monitor day-to-day accounting operations within the department, including direct supervision and development of Accounts Payable Staff.
• Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.
• Prepare timely and accurate financial statements, including P&Ls, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
• Perform/oversee monthly account reconciliations.
• Key accounting contact for land development companies, including project tracking, payments, and ad hoc reporting.
• Implement and enforce internal controls to maximize protection of company assets, policies, procedures, and workflows.
• Implement process documentation project to ensure business continuity.
• Provide financial analysis and reports to assist the leadership team with strategic planning and decision-making.
• Collaborate and maintain communication with the outside tax firm to ensure seamless coordination of efforts.
• Collaborate closely with the VP of Finance to develop financial strategies and long-term planning.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• Minimum 7 years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting requirements

Capstone Homes – South Dakota is a growing residential homebuilder in the Sioux Falls area. As a volume builder, we are seeking a Job Superintendent who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can uphold the highest level of accountability. The ideal candidate is someone who not only has the experience and drive to manage multiple job sites but also aligns with our Core Values of Trust, Humility, and Excellence. At Capstone, we hire for a culture fit first – technical skills matter, but we believe the right heart and mindset are what make a lasting impact.
Essential Job Functions:
• Oversee and manage all aspects of construction projects, ensuring timely and cost-effective completion.
• Establish and maintain healthy teams. Mentor and build the team around you.
• Complete all quality checklists within 24 hours of each trade contractor finishing their work. Address any deficiencies with the respective trade and ensure they are resolved promptly.
• When each trade has completed their work to Capstone satisfaction, approve payment for that trade via tablet.
• Schedule and attend all municipal inspections.
• Enforce company safety program as outlined in Capstone Homes safety manual.
• Guide and direct field employees, trades, and suppliers. Solve problems for them so they can complete the homes on time.
• Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the construction process.
• Keep site entrance, model home lots, sales centers, and all job sites clean and orderly at all times.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a Construction Job Superintendent or similar role in the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, means and methods, materials, and legal regulations.
• Excellent leadership and organizational skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• OSHA certification or other relevant safety training is a plus.

As a Sales Counselor, you will be the face of Capstone Homes, Inc., guiding clients through the exciting journey of purchasing their new home. You will build strong relationships, understand client needs, present available properties, and deliver exceptional service to ensure a seamless homebuying experience.
